HITEK ENERGY Ships Full Container of Storage Systems to Haiti

HITEK ENERGY, a leading provider of solar energy storage solutions, has successfully dispatched 40HQ full container of energy storage systems to Haiti, marking another significant step in HITEKESS‘ expansion across the Caribbean region. The shipment, comprising 50kW and 150kW storage systems, will be distributed locally by the client for resale, addressing the growing demand for reliable energy storage in a market where grid instability is a daily reality.

The systems are powered by ATESS US-standard low-voltage three-phase hybrid inverters (50kW and 150kW models), engineered specifically for North American and Caribbean commercial and industrial applications. Designed to comply with US grid standards at 220V/480V three-phase systems, these all-in-one hybrid inverters integrate photovoltaic conversion, battery storage, and grid management into a single unit, achieving seamless grid-to-backup switching in under 10 milliseconds. Paired with HITEKESS Grade A 512V 314Ah lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery racks—configured as both single-rack and two-rack parallel setups—the system delivers exceptional energy density, long cycle life, and rapid charge/discharge capabilities.

This integrated solution offers several key advantages for the Haitian market. The ATESS inverter’s split-phase and three-phase flexibility supports diverse commercial loads, while HITEKESS’ LiFePO₄ battery chemistry ensures thermal stability and safety in tropical climates. The modular battery architecture allows for easy capacity expansion, and the system’s 10-millisecond UPS-grade switching provides critical backup during the frequent outages that plague Haiti’s aging grid infrastructure. With the Haitian government recently announcing plans to eliminate taxes on solar panels and batteries to promote renewable energy adoption, the timing of this shipment aligns with a favorable policy environment.
